概要: | The objectives of this symposium / workshop are (1) to exchange information on global climate mitigation measures and sustainable forest management and identify gaps between the two concepts. (2) to discuss options for optimizing the social, economical and ecological benefits from global climate mitigation measures and ecosystem conservation. (3) to assess the need for a new guideline to harmonize CDM activities and ecosystem conservation activities associated with sustainable forest management, determine if criteria and indicator might provide a possible solution, and identify gaps and scientific requirements.(Detail) |
