| Abstract: |
In Hokkaido University, Tomakomai Experimental Forest, compartment 210, the dynamics of Japanese Larch forest were investigated at the stands. In 1984, a tree census with an area of 0.25 ha (50 m x 50 m) was established. The census interval was 7-years for the 1st-2nd census, and 10-years for the 2nd-3rd census. After the 3rd census, there were conducted at 5-year intervals. At the 1st time and 2nd time census, we measured Diameter at breast height (DBH).After the 3rd time, we measured Girth at breast height (GBH). Besides, There are multiple years of logging records in compartment 210.

北海道大学苫小牧研究林210林班カラマツ人工林の動態を調査した。1984年に面積0.25 ha （50ｍ×50ｍ）の調査区を設けた。調査間隔は1,2回目は7年間隔、2, 3回目は10年間隔、以降は5年間隔で調査を実施した。調査項目は1, 2回目は胸高直径を、3回目調査以降では胸高周囲長を計測した。また、調査区の立地する210林班では複数年にわたって伐採の履歴が存在する。

Before 1999, diameter at breast height (DBH: 1.3 m above ground) was measured with a caliper (2 cm unit). Since 1999, girth at breast height (GBH: 1.3 m above ground) was measured with a steel tape and converted into diameter.
