A Fraxinus mandshurica plantaion forest reserve has been investigated to examine its stand structure and dynamics. A study plot with area 0.2-ha was introduced in 1981, followed by repeated tree censuses (at 5-10 year interval)., 北海道大学中川研究林216及び218林班ヤチダモ人工林の林分構造および動態を調べるため、1981年に面積0.2の調査区を設け、5-10年間隔で、本数、胸高周囲長、樹高、枝下高、枝張りを計測している

Targets to measure, 測定対象
The census targeted trees with girth at breast height (1.3 m) equal to or larger than 30-cm in the plot. Trees were identified by metal plate, and their species names were recorded., 調査区内の胸高周囲長30cm以上の樹木を対象とした．金板で個体識別し、樹種名を記録した．
