| Abstract: |
There is a Picea glehnii plantaion forest in compartment 318 of the Teshio Experimental Forest, Hokkaido University. The plantaion forest has been investigated to examine its stand structure and dynamics. This Long-term permanent plot with area 0.1-ha was introduced in 1985, followed by repeated tree censuses (at about 5 or 10 year interval).

北海道大学天塩研究林318林班アカエゾマツ造林地の林分構造および動態を調べるため、1985 (昭和60) 年に形状 33m x 30m、面積0.1haの調査区を設け、約5年間隔 (3回目調査以降は10年間隔) で、胸高周囲長、樹高、樹冠幅を計測している。2007 (平成19) 年4月、間伐を実施。
なお、この調査は、次の試験課題として実施した。
基盤調査課題; 長期観察林, 北海道大学北方生物圏フィールド科学センター森林圏ステーション長期計画 (2015～2024)。
森林動態学部門; 動植物の個体群動態とその維持機構の解明, 北海道大学北方生物圏フィールド科学センター森林圏ステーション長期計画(2005～2014)。

Girth at breast height (1.3m above ground) was measured with a steel tape, and then converted into diameter (from the 2000 census).
